CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga —Central Luzon police arrested nine drug suspects and seized over P760,000 worth of shabu in a series of anti-illegal drug operations in the region.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. showed that on June 8, joint operatives of the Pampanga Police Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Porac police, in coordination with PDEA Region 3, arrested “high-value” target alias “Jer,” along with “Tito,” and “Ilyong,” in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Pio, Porac, Pampanga.
Confiscated from them were 56 grams of shabu valued at P380,800, three cellphones, and a Toyota Vios used in the illegal drug trade.
On the same day, a raid in Bgy. Banga 1st, Plaridel, Bulacan resulted in the arrest of alleged drug pushers alias “Ape” and his brother alias “Jay,” along with four others identified as alias “Irene,” alias “Rome,” alias “CJ,” and alias “JM,” who were caught having a suspected pot session.
Recovered in the raid were 57 grams of shabu worth P387,600 and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Peñones commended the operating teams for the successful raids.
“These operations reflect the value of teamwork, solid intelligence work, and focused police action. More than that, it underscores our unwavering commitment to protect the public. The fight against illegal drugs is not ours alone — it involves the entire community, and PRO3 will continue working tirelessly to keep every neighborhood safe,” the Central Luzon top cop said.
