CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3’s (PRO3) one-day series of coordinated operations in the region on July 16 resulted in the arrest of nine suspects and the confiscation of P1.4 million worth of shabu.
Operatives from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Norzagaray police conducted a buy-bust operation in North Hills Village, Bgy. Tigbe, Norzagaray, Bulacan and arrested HVT alias “Tibot,” along with three others identified only as “ Nold,” “Vin,” and “Tian.”
Seized from the suspects were 48.7 grams of shabu valued at P331,160, a cal. .45 pistol loaded with seven live bullets, the buy-bust money, P19,000 cash and drug paraphernalia.
Earlier that day, elements of the SDEU of the Abucay police in Bataan apprehended alias “Mark” and alias “Lito” in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Wawa, Abucay.
Confiscated from the duo were 79.99 grams of suspected shabu valued at P543,932.
In the afternoon of the same day, operatives from the Mabalacat City Police Station arrested two drug suspects , alias “JR,” and alias “Soy,” in Sitio Mauli, Bgy. Sapang Biabas, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Recovered in the operation were 30 grams of shabu worth P204,000.
Likewise, on the same day, a joint buy-bust operation by the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU) and the Police Station 3 of Angeles City led to the arrest of HVT “Ronron,” in Bgy. Pulung Maragul, Angeles City.
Seized from the suspect were four plastic sachets containing approximately 60 grams of shabu valued at P408,000.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. commended the commitment and swift action of the operating units involved in the operations.
“This series of operations is part of PRO3’s intensified implementation of the directive from the PNP chief to dismantle drug networks, reduce the availability of illegal drugs, and maintain peace and order throughout the region,” Peñones said.
“PRO3 remains committed to its mission of creating safer and drug-free communities across Central Luzon,” he added.
