POLICE are now searching for a person deprived of liberty (PDL) who on Friday escaped from the Angeles District Jail in Bgy. Sto. Domingo, Angeles City, Pampanga.
Angeles City police acting director Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr. identified the escapee as Ralph Santianez, 39, a resident of Bgy. Cristo Rey, Capas, Tarlac.
An investigation showed that a jail officer on duty at the Container Van Building of the Male Dormitory was conducting accounting of the PDLs when he noticed one is missing.
The jail guard immediately informed his superior and upon review of the CCTV footage, they found out that the detainee climbed the perimeter wall beside the cooking area then jumped over the wall to escape.
The Pampanga police immediately launched a manhunt operation to rearrest the escapee.
