FIVE armed men on Saturday hit a parcel delivery warehouse in Marilao, Bulacan and escaped with at least P360,000 in cash.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Pe ñones Jr., the Bulacan police said one of the five suspects is a former security guard of the warehouse.
An investigation showed that the on duty security guard at the J&T warehouse in Bgy. Prenza 2 in Marilao saw a white closed van arrived at the premises and five unidentified men alighted from the vehicle.
One of the men approached the security guard and pointed a gun at him, tied his hands and covered his mouth with masking tape.
The suspects gained entry into the warehouse using a bolt cutter.
Once inside, the suspects took two vaults- one containing P360,000 in cash and the other vault containing a scanner worth P30,000.
The robbers grabbed the security guard’s issued firearm before fleeing.
Police are reviewing the CCTV footage in the area to identify and arrest the suspects.
