CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Monday arrested a notorious drug peddler in a buy-bust operation in this city.
The PDEA identified the suspect as alias “Satar,” 26, a native of Lanao del Norte, who was believed to be involved in the proliferation of illegal drugs in the city.
Members of the PDEA Calabarzon Special Enforcement Team 1 (RSET I), PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and in coordination with the City of San Fernando police conducted the entrapment at an open mall parking lot in the city.
Seized were around 700 grams of shabu placed inside seven knot-tied transparent plastic bags, and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspect is facing a non-bailable offense for violation of Section 5 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
