A DAY before his 68th birthday on September 13, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday hosted a festive Salo-salo sa Palasyo at the Kalayaan grounds of Malacañang, continuing what has now become a tradition of celebrating his special day with the Filipino people.
The Palace once again opened its doors to the public, welcoming supporters from across Metro Manila and as far as the Ilocos region, who came to personally greet the Chief Executive.
President Marcos arrived at the venue riding a golf cart with First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, warmly waving to the crowd before joining them in the celebration.The Salo-salo sa Palasyo has become an annual tradition under the Marcos administration, symbolizing openness, gratitude, and the enduring bond between the President and the people he serves. |
