
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The”‘Oplan Pagtugis” drive by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Region 3 (CIDG-R3) has hauled to jail three most wanted men during its 24-hour operation in the province.
In a report to CIDG Regional Field Unit 3 (RFU3) chief Col. Grant Gollod, the CIDG Pampanga police arrested alias “Ugay,” 17, the city’s no. 4 most wanted man.
The suspect is classified as a child in conflict with the law.
Alias “Ugay,” a resident of Bgy. Calulut, San Fernando City, was arrested based on an Order to Take Custody issued by the RTC Branch 45 of San Fernando City, for statutory rape and sexual assault.
In Angeles City, members of the CIDG arrested the city’s no. 4 most wanted in Bgy. Sapalibutad identified as alias “Pena,” 18, also for rape.
Both suspects will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) center in Bgy. Maimpis, San Fernando City, for proper handling as minor offenders.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old driver alias “Untay,” of Bgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, who is wanted for grave coercion, was arrested by joint elements of the CIDG Angeles City Field Unit and the Mabalacat City police.
Alias “Untay” is now under the custody of the CIDG Angeles City Field Unit.
Gollod said the arrests were part of “Oplan Pagtugis,” the CIDG’s continuing campaign to locate and apprehend wanted persons across Central Luzon.
