CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Police on Tuesday night arrested a construction worker for allegedly selling shabu in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Bgy. San Francisco, Lubao, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez, the Pampanga police identified the suspect as alias “Kambal,” 37, a laborer and resident of the village.
The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO), acting as lead unit, with support from the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and the Lubao Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 (PDEA R3), launched the buy-bust operation.
Seized were around 102 grams of shabu worth at least P693,600.
The arrested suspect was brought to the PDEU office for documentation and proper disposition and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
