CALAMBA Medical Center (CMC) officially opened its first Ambulatory Care Center at the Light Industry and Science Park I (LISP I) in Cabuyao, Laguna, marking a significant step towards enhancing accessibility of healthcare for the community.
The new facility underscores CMC’s commitment to the health and well-being of workers in the region, it being the hub for industrial growth.
LISP I is recognized as the first industrial park in the country having opened in 1991. It is home to 88 locators and employs around 27,000 individuals, with major companies like Procter and Gamble, Nexperia, and First Sumiden.

The blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony was held December 6, 2024.
CMC president and CEO attorney Pilar Nenuca P. Almira expressed her excitement about the center’s potential.
“The opening of our Ambulatory Care Center is a testament to our dedication to the community’s health. We are thrilled to offer quality medical services right here in the heart of the industrial park,” Almira said.

LISP 1 administrator Marcial Caluag warmly welcomed CMC, emphasizing the significance of the partnership in the park’s ongoing development.
The event also attracted representatives from various companies, including Lito Mondok, chairman and president of the Board of Governors of LISP I, and Enrique Sonoy, president and CEO of Excellitas and the Secretary of the LISP I Board of Governors.
Designed to provide comprehensive outpatient services, the Ambulatory Care Center aims to ensure that workers have easy access to essential healthcare, promoting wellness and preventive care in the community.
The facility is a vital step forward in CMC’s mission to enhance healthcare access to the region’s workforce.
