POLICE on Monday arrested a South Korean national wanted for stealing a car in Angeles City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Angeles police acting director Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr. identified the suspect as alias “Yoo,” 43, a tourist temporarily staying in Bgy. Cuayan, Angeles City.
According to Station 4 commander Maj. Marlon Ventus, the foreigner was arrested in a bar on Raymond St. in Bgy. Balibago, Angeles City.
The arrest was based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 114 of Angeles City, Pampanga for violation of Republic Act 10883 or the New Anti-Carnapping Law, with a recommended bail of P300,000.
The arrested Korean is now under the custody of the Angeles City police for filing of charges.
