TWO armed men on Tuesday barged into the house of a 29-year-old businessman and took at least P5 million in cash and other valuables in Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija.
The Nueva Ecija police reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo that the victim was Christian Aguilar, a resident of Bgy. Soledad in Santa Rosa.
Aguilar told police that the suspects gained entry into the house by scaling the compound wall and forcibly opened the door at the back.
Once inside, the suspects went to the victim’s room and at gunpoint ordered him to open the vault.
The suspects took the P5 million in cash, wristwatches and jewelry worth P1.3 million, as well as the victim’s cal. .40 pistol and cal..9mm.
The burglars escaped at the back of the compound into the ricefield.
Authorities are reviewing the CCTV to identify and arrest the suspects.
