CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A series of operations by the Police Regional Office 3 from January 1 to February 22 resulted in tne arrest of 1,543 drug suspects and the confiscation of at least P43 million worth of illegal substances in Central Luzon.
The PRO3 launched 1,031 anti-drug operations which led to the seizure of 6,178.67 grams of shabu, 7,143.51 grams of dried marijuana leaves, and 86.24 grams of kush.
Of the total number of suspects caught, 63 were identified as “high-value” individuals.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said the relentless offensive drive against illegal drugs is powered by intelligence-driven policing, aggressive enforcement, and strong police-community partnerships.
Fajardo emphasized the units’ unwavering commitment to eradicating illegal drugs.
“These numbers represent lives saved and communities protected. PRO3 remains relentless in its mission to dismantle drug networks, stop the flow of illegal substances, and bring every offender to justice. We will not stop until Central Luzon is truly drug-free,” she said.
According to Fajardo, beyond police action, community involvement is proving to be a powerful weapon in the fight against illegal drugs.
“We need the public’s support. Every tip, every report, every concerned citizen who stands with us brings us closer to our goal. Together, we will end the scourge of illegal drugs and ensure a safer future for our communities,” the Central Luzon top cop said.
