POLICE are hunting down a Chinese national for allegedly taking a vehicle of a Filipina on Monday in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by the Pampanga police identified the suspect as Xiao Yuan Wang, 25, a Chinese national residing at D’Heights Villa, Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat City.
Complainant Trixie Ann Flores, 26, of Purok 3 Sto. Domingo, Lubao, Pampanga, arrived at the Royce Hotel and Casino located at Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat City, together with her three -month-old child and a babysitter.
She told police that upon arrival at the hotel, her Chinese husband Shi Shao Feng was not around so she decided to look after him.
The Filipina saw her husband sitting at the pool area and talking with the suspect and some other Chinese men.
The woman said when she was approaching her husband, the suspect suddenly shouted angrily at her hubby, prompting her to pacify them.
The suspect then turned to the complainant, forcibly took from her hands the keys of the vehicle, ordered them to leave the place then drove off with the car.
An investigation showed the vehicle, a pearl white Toyota Fortuner with plate No. CAG 6301, is registered to Richard Manuel, of Tarlac City.
Charges are being readied for filing against the Chinese suspect.
