AN 8-YEAR-OLD boy on Monday drowned in a beach in Tarlac.
The Tarlac police reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. that the victim was Lawrence Carreon, of Bgy. Labney, San Jose, Tarlac.
The victim’s cousin, Ryan Asio, told police that he saw Lawrence following his grandmother at Saipan Beach in Bgy. Iba, San Jose, Tarlac.
Minutes later, the boy’s relatives could no longer find him, prompting them to call for assistance from the barangay rescue team.
They later found Lawrence unconscious on the water.
Lawrence was rushed to the San Jose MDRRMC at the Tarlac Provincial Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival by an attending physician.
