CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Two drug suspects were arrested while over P1 million worth of shabu was seized in an entrapment operation in Tarlac.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Camiling police identified the arrested suspects as alias “Boyet” and alias “Boy,” both residents of Bgy. Poblacion Camiling, Tarlac.
Seized from the duo were two knot-tied transparent large plastic bags with six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets both containing shabu worth at least P1,190,000, the marked money, an improvised water pipe tooter, a weighing scale, a cellphone and other drug paraphernalia.
Police said alias “Boyet” is allegedly affiliated with the Dizon Criminal Group engaged in illegal drug activities operating in Camiling and nearby province of Tarlac.
“This successful operation reflects the continued efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat illegal drug activities in the region and underscores the importance of community vigilance in the fight against illicit substances,” Hidalgo said.
Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the suspects..
