POLICE arrested a man tagged as a “serial rapist” in Antipolo City following an operation inside a motel room where he tied his latest victim before sexually abusing her.
Antipolo City Police Station head Lt. Col Ryan L Manongdo identified the arrested suspect as Kohe Ferrer.
Ferrer was arrested in a follow-up operation in the city on Friday morning.
Manongdo said the alleged serial rapist in Antipolo City and nearby cities prey on freelance massage therapists.
The official said at least two women positively identified the suspect as the man who robbed and raped them separately.
The latest victim was a 34-year-old massage therapist from Pasig City.
Police said the suspect booked the victim. The two met at Room 64 of Punch Inn Hotel on Maguey Road in Bgy. San Luis, Antipolo City early Thursday afternoon.
To her surprise, the woman said the suspect pointed a knife at her and threatened to kill her if she will offer any resistance.
The suspect forcibly undressed the complainant, tied her feet and her hands behind her back and inserted a piece of cloth on her mouth to prevent her from screaming.
Ferrer later sexually abused the victim before stealing her cellphone worth P13,000, a P400 watch, a bracelet worth P1,500 and her P8,000 cash.
Members of the Antipolo City Police Station found the victim still tied inside the room and crying as she narrated her ordeal at the hands of the suspect.
A massive dragnet and follow-up operation led to the capture of the accused, who is facing non-bailable charges for rape with robbery.
