THE Mabalacat City police are hunting down a South Korean national accused of taking his compatriots P200,000 cash and a vehicle.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by Mabalacat City police commander Lt. Col. Efren David identified the suspect as Chung Mo Lim alias “Matthew,” 51.
Victims South Korean nationals Sang Gyu Lee, 63; and Sang Chun Lee, 64, both retirees, filed a complaint against Lim.
The three Koreans are all residents of Pinatubo St., Rokko Village, Clark Center, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
According to the victims, Lim is their trusted companion and a house and church mate whom they instructed to deposit the P200,000 cash to the bank account of Sang Gyu and allowed him to use a Mazda vehicle with plate number PQR899 owned by Sang Chun.
However, until now, Lim failed to return home and could no longer be contacted on his cellphone.
Despite several messages sent to the phone number and messenger account of Lim, the complainants said they have not received any reply, prompting them to seek the help of the police.
