MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – A total of 3,063 daycare pupils in this city are set to receive school supplies from Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr..
The five-day distribution program of his personal donation of sets of school supplies for the city’s 61 daycare centers started on September 11.
Each daycare pupil will receive a tote bag with crayons, notebooks, pencil, eraser, sharpener, and writing pad.

The parents of each day care pupil will also receive five kilos of rice.
The rice and school supplies are personal donation of Lazatin to the daycare pupils of Mabalacat City, which he promised to personally distribute back in June 28, when he officially declared his candidacy for Pampanga’s 1st district representative post.
Lazatin was joined in the distribution by Rey Pineda, president of the Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) of Mabalacat; barangay captains Derrick Dee of Dau, Rene Liwanag and council of Duquit Elmer Mendiola and Council of Poblacion and Rustico Garbo and council of Cacutud; barangay councils of Mamatitang and Mangalit; chief adviser IC Calaguas, executive assistant IV Reina Manuel, and long-time Lazatin aide Mina Cabiles.
Cong “Pogi” is also scheduled to distribute school supplies in Magalang town in the coming weeks.

On July 23 and 24, Lazatin took part in the nationwide Brigada Eskwela 2024 in Mabalacat and Magalang.
Some 60 schools in Mabalacat City and 27 schools in Magalang town received 40 liters of paint and 10 sacks of cement each, personally donated by Lazatin out of his own pocket.
Participating and donating in the Brigada Eskwela has been a yearly tradition for Lazatin ever since he became a councilor in Angeles City way back in 2013.
