JOINT anti-narcotics operatives on Tuesday arrested a big-time drug peddler and his three cohorts and seized some P3.4 million worth of shabu in an entrapment operation at a mall open parking area in this city.
Nabbed were Hedwig Ramos alias “Jake,” 40, of 245 Bgy. San Nicolas 1st, Lubao, Pampanga; Ryan Comerciante alias “Victor,” 43, of 218 Tindalo Sagad St., Bgy. Sta. Clara, Sta. Maria, Bulacan; Mark Angelo Marasigan, 36, of Zone 6 Pantalan St., Bgy. Malaban, Biñan City, Laguna; and Lester Ramos, 37, of 2484 Bgy. 152 Apelo Cruz Malibay, Pasay City.
According to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga, the target of the operation was Hedwig Ramos, who is involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in the City of San Fernando and nearby towns in Pampanga.
“We were able to secure a drug deal with Ramos for the purchase of 500 grams of shabu and agreed to meet in San Fernando, Pampanga. When we reached the meet up place in Pampanga, Ramos called and instructed the undercover agent to meet him in a mall parking lot in Dasmariñas City until their arrest,” the PDEA said.
Operatives of the PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and the PDEA Calabarzon confiscated from the suspects five knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing more or less 500 grams of shabu valued at P3,400,000 and the marked money.
All arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
