A PASSENGER bus rammed a transport terminal in a mall leaving a student dead and four others wounded in Bgy.. Ibayo, Balanga City, Bataan.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by the Balanga police identified the fatality as Jen Orviel Dinglasan Titolo, 20, an Architecture student of the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), and a resident of Bgy. Cabcaben in Mariveles, Bataan.
An investigation showed bus driver Cesar Flerio Abella Jr., 57, of Bgy. Cabcaben in Mariveles, accidentally stepped on the clutch of the bus.
The bus suddenly moved forward hitting the glass door of the terminal at the SM mall, causing the wall to collapse and fall on the passengers at the waiting area.
Five passengers were rushed to the Bataan General Hospital in Balanga City, where the student died while being treated of severe injuries.
The bus driver is now under police custody.
