CAMP GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan – Police on Saturday arrested two drug traffickers and seized at least P963,000 worth of marijuana in separate entrapment operations in Bulacan.
Bulacan police commander Col. Relly Arnedo reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr.,that members of the Malolos police conducted a buy-bust in Bgy. Pinagbakahan, Malolos, Bulacan which resulted in the arrest of alias “Glenn,” of Bgy. Pinagbakahan, City of Malolos, Bulacan.
Seized from the suspect were six kilos of suspected dried marijuana worth P720,000, the marked money, and a Honda car with plate number 697ROG used in the illegal drug trade.
Arnedo said another operation in Bgy. Santol resulted in the arrest of a drug peddler identified as alias “Reyvin,” 25, of Bgy. Pinagkuartelan, Pandi, Bulacan.
Confiscated from the suspect were at least 2.03 kilos of dried marijuana worth P243,600 and the marked money.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
