RIDING-IN-TANDEM assassins on Friday killed a former barangay kagawad in an ambush in Bgy. Salinas 1, Bacoor City, Cavite.
Slain was Eleuterio Calilung III, a resident of Bgy Salinas 2.
Calilung was on his way home in a Honda Civic car with plate no. XBK510 when upon reaching Bgy. Salinas 1, suspects on a black Honda Beat motorcycle shot him before fleeing at 5:21 p.m. on Friday.
Police are pursuing the gunmen and investigating the motive for the killing.
