Mabalacat Mayor Crisostomo Garbo led the distribution of payout to the 120 beneficiaries held at the Dolores Covered Court.
Participants received a sum of P9,500 each.
The Cash for Work Program aims to empower the youth by providing them with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to their community while earning a fair wage.
Garbo said by participating in various community projects and initiatives through the City Youth Development Office (CDYO), these young individuals not only gained valuable skills and experiences but also developed a sense of responsibility and pride in giving back to their city.
The mayor expressed his appreciation for the hardwork and dedication shown by the participants.
He emphasized the importance of investing in the younger generation and creating avenues for them to actively participate in shaping the future of Mabalacat City.
CYDO head Jaira Lomahan said the distribution of the cash for work payouts signifies the city government’s commitment to supporting its youth and strengthen a culture of inclusivity and empowerment.
