A SUSPECTED Chinese kidnapper on Tuesday was arrested following a police chase in Bgy. San Jose, Castillejos, Zambales.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by Zambales police director Col. Ricardo Pangan identified the suspect as Hengfa Wu, a 35-year-old Chinese national of Davao City.
Members of the Subic police led by Capt. Anthony Soria flagged down a white BMW for verification on Govic Highway, Bgy. Calapacuan, Subic.
However, the vehicle sped off, which resulted in a brief chase.
The vehicle was later intercepted in Bgy. San Jose, in Castillejos.
Upon verification, the car was allegedly involved in a kidnapping incident in Makati City on June 10 of a 33-year-old male Chinese national of Mabini St., Malate, Manila.
A flash alarm was relayed by the ZPPO-TOC Viber group.
The suspect and the rescued victim are now under the custody of the Subic police.
