MISSING GRADE 6 STUDENT FOUND DEAD, POSSIBLY RAPED

A GRADE 6 female student who went missing for two days on Wednesday was found dead and believed sexually molested in General Trias City, Cavite.

General Trias City police chief Lt. Col. Jose Naparato Jr. identified the victim as Rheamae, a Grade 6 student, and a resident of the village.

According to witness Oscar Ballada Bovadilla, also a resident of Bgy. Sta. Clara, he went to the area to get bamboo shoots locally known as “labong” when he was shocked to see the girl covered with leaves and lying on the grass bloodied and dead at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The girl’s blouse was up and her lower garment was down, an indication she was raped.

Bovadilla immediately reported to the authorities the gruesome find.

Prior to the discovery of the victim’s body, the father turned to Facebook to search for his daughter.

The father said his daughter failed to return home since Monday.

Police are hunting down the suspect.
