MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Anti-narcotics operatives on Wednesday arrested a man and seized at least P392,533 worth of marijuana resins in an operation in Bgy. Joaquin, this city.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Clark identified the suspect as Daryl dela Cruz, of Diamond St., Poblacion, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
The suspect tried to claim the package containing 5,888 grams of imported marijuana resins worth P392,533 that arrived at the Port of Clark on June 16.

“The confiscated marijuana resins emanated from California, USA were declared as candles. They were placed inside the 12 pieces of plastic canister containers and the discovery of which prompted us to conduct a controlled delivery operation,” the PDEA said.
The operation was conducted by the PDEA Central Luzon, PDEA ICFAS, Bureau of Custom- Port of Clark, PNP AVSEC3, PDEG SOU3 and Mabalacat City police.
A non-bailable charges for violation of Section 4 (importation of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested consignee.
