A SARI-SARI store owner was shot by one of his “customers” in Bgy. Pampang, Angeles City, Pampanga.
Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza Jr. reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. that the victim was Marcelino Tiglao, 50, of Purok 5B, Saint Vincent St., Angeles City.
Investigation showed the victim and his wife were manning their sari-sari store in their home when one of the suspects bought a sachet of coffee.
The wife was getting the item when she heard a gunshot. When she turned her back, she saw her husband unconscious and bloodied on the floor.
The suspects fled after the shooting.
Tiglao was rushed to the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Center in Angeles City for treatment.
Police are conducting a follow-up operation to identify and arrest the suspects.
