CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -The Police Regional Office-3 (PRO-3) has sent its men to Davao City to support the Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) force of the Police Regional Office 11 (PRO-11) as the search for fugitive Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pasto Apollo Quiboloy continues.
The strategic augmentation aims to ensure peace and order amidst heightened tensions and to strengthen efforts in locating the religious leader.
As the pursuit of Quiboloy continues, the augmentation from PRO-3 enhances PRO-11’s capabilities to maintain public order, particularly in areas potentially impacted by the ongoing search operations.
With their expertise in crowd management, the additional personnel from PRO3 will bolster operational effectiveness, ensuring safety and security remain in the region.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. expressed his support for PRO 11’s efforts, emphasizing the importance of national cooperation among police units to accomplish law enforcement objectives as directed by the PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil.
“The deployment of our personnel to PRO-11 reflects our commitment to ensuring the success of national operations in maintaining peace and order. We stand in full support of PRO-11’s mission to locate and apprehend Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, reinforcing their efforts with the necessary resources and manpower,” Hidalgo said.
PRO-3 is always ready to extend assistance to our fellow regions in critical times such as this,” he added.
The Philippine National Police has been intensifying its nationwide manhunt operations following the issuance of arrest warrants for Pastor Quiboloy on multiple charges.
Authorities urge the public to remain calm, cooperate with law enforcement, and report any information that may assist in the apprehension of the wanted religious leader.
