FORMER Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso filed his certificate of candidacy for mayor of Manila on Tuesday, the last day of the filing, to reclaim the city’s top post.
Moreno served as mayor of Manila from 2019 to 2022.
He will be facing his former ally and vice mayor, now Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna who filed her COC on October 3.
Lacuna is running
is reelectionist Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto.
Moreno’s running mate Chi Atienza, daughter of former Manila mayor and former Buhay Party-list representative Lito Atienza also filed her COC.
Moreno and Atienza will campaign under Aksyon Demokratiko, where Moreno currently serves as president.
Joaquin Domagoso, son of Moreno, will be running for councilor in Manila’s first district.
The actor-politician accompanied his eldest son in filing his own COC.
