POLICE on Friday arrested a “high-value” target and seized over P700,000 worth of shabu in a drug buy-bust operation in Angeles City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza Jr. identified the suspect as drug watchlisted Arthur Gonzales alias “Isko,” a 53-year-old vendor residing in Bgy. Capaya II, Angeles City.
Members of the Intelligence Division/Drug Enforcement Unit of the Angeles City Police Station conducted the sting in Bgy. Ninoy Aquino in the city.
Confiscated from the suspect were at least 110 grams of shabu valued at P748,000, the marked and boodle money, and a brown pouch.
The arrested suspect will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
