POLICE on Friday rescued a businessman and arrested three of his alleged kidnappers in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Rescued was Marvin Ayson, 44, a businessman, of Bgy. Sta. Trinidad, Angeles City, said a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan by Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza Jr..

Nabbed were Jeffrey Tolentino, 40, a tricycle driver, of Bgy. Amsic, Angeles City; Ariel Castro, 39, an aircon technician and a resident of Bgy. Malabanias, Angeles City; and Reynaldo de Leon, 34, a cook, of Bgy. Malabanias.
A fourth suspect eluded arrest.
Mendoza said the sister of Ayson presented to the police a CCTV video showing four suspects in civilian clothes approaching the victim and introducing themselves as police officers.

The suspects then forcibly dragged Ayson into a vehicle and fled.
Immediately, personnel from the Police Station 2, along with operatives from the City Intelligence Unit of ACPO, conducted follow-up operations and backtracked the CCTV footage in the area.
Authorities successfully tracked the victim’s location in Bgy. Sta. Trinidad, Angeles City, rescued him, and apprehended the three suspects.
Seized during the rescue operation were a cal. 45 gun and 12 live bullets.
Police also recovered the get-away vehicle described as a maroon Honda City with plate number ZLV 676.
The victim told police that the suspects demanded a P200,000 ransom for his release.
The prompt response of Mendoza and his men led to the immediate rescue of Ayson.
