POLICE on Tuesday arrested a cellphone technician in a drug buy-bust operation in Limay, Bataan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, Bataan police director Col. Palmer Z. Tria identified the suspect as Michael Garcia, 35, a resident of Limay town.
Garcia was nabbed by operatives from the Limay police, Provincial Intelligence Unit, Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, all under the supervision of Limay police OIC Maj. Madtaib Jalman, in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 3, in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Saint Francis 2.
Seized were some 60 grams of shabu valued at P1,088,000, a cal. .38 revolver with six live bullets, a cellphone, the marked and boodle money.
Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Republic Act 10591 or the the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act were filed against the arrested suspect.
