A “HIGH-VALUE” target on Wednesday was arrested following the confiscation from him of over P20 million worth of shabu in an entrapment operation in Bgy. Tungkong, Mangga, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, the Bulacan police identified the arrested suspect as alias “Marvin,”33, of San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan.
Joint operatives of the Special Operations Unit 3, the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group, the San Jose del Monte City police, Bulacan Provincial Police Office, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bulacan and Provincial Intelligence Team – Bulacan East, Regional Intelligence Unit 3, launched the buy-bust.
Confiscated from the suspect were around 3,000 grams of shabu valued at P20.4 million, the buy-bust and boodle money, three pieces of tea plastic bags used as container of shabu, a backpack, and a cellular phone.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspect.
