A TOTAL of 387 persons, including 70 most wanted men, were hauled to jail by operatives of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) during police operations from January 10 to January 26.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said among those arrested are facing murder, rape, robbery, and illegal drugs charges.
She said the operations underscored the PRO3’s commitment to public safety and upholding the rule of law.
The Bulacan police emerged as the top contributor to the success of the operations, with 75 arrests attributed to its proactive peacekeeping efforts.
Fajardo commended the dedication of the region’s police force in achieving this milestone.
“In just 16 days, we have successfully apprehended 387 wanted persons, including 70 of the most dangerous criminals in the region. This is not just a victory for the police, but a triumph for the safety and security of every citizen in Central Luzon,” Fajardo said.
She said this accomplishment reflects PRO3’s relentless drive to track down fugitives and promote a secure and peaceful region.
“We will continue to pursue justice with steadfast commitment and work tirelessly to ensure that no one is above the law. Our mission to protect and serve remains as strong as ever, and we will not rest until every corner of our region is free from criminal threat,” Fajardo said.
The PRO3 top cop also called on the public to support the PNP’s endeavors by providing valuable information about criminal activities through official hotlines and community initiatives.
