A 52-YEAR-OLD woman tagged as a “high-value target” on Sunday was arrested while over P600,000 worth of shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in Orion, Bataan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Bataan police acting director Col. Marites A. Salvadora identified the suspect as alias “Arianne,” a resident of Bgy. Villa Angeles, Orion.
Operatives of the Bataan Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit led by Capt. Ian Vinluan, together with members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit Orion police and the Bataan Provincial Intelligence Unit, conducted the sting on the suspect in Bgy. Villa Angeles, Orion.
Confiscated from the suspect were a knot-tied plastic bag containing shabu weighing at least 101 grams and valued at P686,800 and the marked money.
The arrested suspect is now detained at the Orion police station facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
