A CHINESE national and a 24-year-old Filipina on Wednesday were arrested while more than P680 million worth of shabu was seized in an entrapment operation in Bgy. Sto. Domingo, Angeles City, Pampanga.
Arrested were alias “Wang,” 31, of Clark Pampanga and alias “Cha,” a 24-year-old Filipina, of San Sebastian, Tarlac City, Tarlac.
Operatives led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Intelligence Service launched a buy-bust operation on the suspects on Friendship Highway in Bgy. Sto. Domingo in Angeles City.
Confiscated were around 101 kilos of shabu worth over P680,000,000.
Prior to the arrest, PDEA operatives have been conducting a series of surveillance against alias “Wang” following some information that he is being used by a syndicate in the illegal drug trade.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested duo.
