A QUICK response by the police foiled an attempt by two men to rob a jewelry store inside a mall in Pampanga early Wednesday morning.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal said the security guard manning the CCTV of SM Pampanga saw two men entering a jewelry store in the mall around 4 a.m. Wednesday.
The security guard said the two men wearing jackets, trousers, and black bonnets went inside a jewelry store, prompting him to inform his superior who called the police.
Lawmen immediately responded after receiving a call about the break-in.
The suspects, who sensed the arrival of the policemen, fled without the loot.
Police are coordinating with the SM security officers in investigating the identities of the suspect.
