FIVE armed men pretending to be customers on Monday robbed a rice mill in Bocaue, Bulacan.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. by the Bulacan police showed that robbed was the rice mill in Bgy. Wakas in Bocaue.
The burglary was reported to the police by rice mill employees Victoria Reza Sison, 39, cashier, a resident of Bgy. San Juan, Balagtas, Bulacan; Francess Checaina Nuñez, 29, secretary, of Bgy. Caingin, Bocaue, Bulacan; and rice dealer Zosimo Cielo, 52, of Bgy. Rizal, Taguig City.
The employees told police that five men wearing black jacket, shorts, and pants pretended as customers and at gunpoint declared a hold-up.
The suspects took the P151,500 cash sales, as well as the personal belongings of the victims, then boarded their getaway vehicle and fled towards McArthur Highway.
Police are conducting a follow-up operation and reviewing the CCTV footage in the area for possible identification and arrest of the of suspects.
