CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Several wanted persons and drug suspects on Monday were arrested during a series of law enforcement operations in Pampanga.
Pampanga police director Col. Eugene M. Marcelo said the coordinated operations were part of their sustained campaign against criminality and illegal drugs.
In Guagua, police apprehended a municipal-level most wanted person for carnapping in Bgy. San Matias.
Anti-drug operatives in the town arrested two men during a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Sta. Ines and seized about 1.5 grams of shabu worth P10,200, along with marked money and a motorcycle.
Lubao authorities served a warrant of arrest in Trece Martires, Cavite against a suspect facing charges for illegal recruitment by a syndicate.
In Magalang, police teams arrested a suspect wanted for qualified theft in Bgy. San Nicolas II.
Another buy-bust operation conducted by the City of San Fernando police and PDEA Pampanga in Bgy. Maimpis yielded around three grams of shabu valued at P20,400.
In Bacolor, a street-level drug personality was caught in Bgy. Cabalantian with 3.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P23,800, along with marked money, a cellphone, and a motorcycle.
Marcelo praised the active support of communities in Pampanga, stressing that public cooperation remains key in maintaining peace and order in the province.
