THE Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) has canceled the passports of former human rights lawyer Harry Roque and Lucky South 99 associate Cassandra Ong.
Judge Ana Teresa Cornejo-Tomacruz of the Pasig City RTC Branch 157 granted the motion to cancel the passports of Roque, Ong, and three of their co-accused in the human trafficking case that stemmed from the operations of a raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub in Porac, Pampanga.
Lucky South 99 in Porac, a POGO facility, was raided by the authorities on June 5, 2024.
Also canceled were the passports of Dennis Cunanan, Mercides Macabasa, and Ronelyn Baterna.
Roque is currently out of the country and has applied for an asylum in the Netherlands.
Ong, who was released from detention, is also at-large. She was last tracked in Japan.
