CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Regional Field Unit 3 (CIDG-RFU3) arrested an alleged gun seller in Bataan.
According to CIDG RFU3 chief Col. Grant Gollod, operatives launched a buy-bust operation under “Oplan Paglalansag Omega,” in Bgy. Lamao, Limay.
Arrested was alias “Reyes,” 23, a resident of the village.
The suspect was nabbed after selling a loose firearm and ammunition to lawmen.
Personnel of the CIDG Bataan Provincial Field Unit (PFU) conducted the operation with support from the Provincial Intelligence Unit of Bataan – Police Provincial Office, the Limay police, and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Seized from the suspect were the buy-bust and boodle money, a cal. .38 revolver without serial number, and five live ammunition for the same gun.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act were filed against the suspect.
