CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The intensified campaign by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) against wanted persons across Central Luzon led to the arrest of 576 suspects from February 24 to March 17.
According to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, of the total number, 424 were classified as Other Wanted Persons while 152 were listed as Most Wanted Persons.
The number of arrestes was based on a data from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division.
Mendez said operations were conducted simultaneously across provinces and cities in the region, focusing on the location and arrest of individuals with standing warrants.
All Top 10 Regional Most Wanted Persons were arrested just two days after the start of March, marking a significant accomplishment in the ongoing manhunt efforts.
“We will continue to sustain the momentum in our efforts to locate and arrest wanted persons. This is part of our commitment to maintain peace and order in the region,” Mendez said
He added that the accomplishment is in line with the PNP Focused Agenda of PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly on strengthening enhanced police operations and ensuring a more responsive and effective law enforcement service.
“Pulis Central Luzon will continue to deliver Serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman for the people we serve,” said the Central Luzon top cop.
He added that coordination with local government units and other agencies, including the PRO3 cyberpatrollers, remains key in tracking down fugitives and ensuring their immediate arrest.
