CAMP GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan —Police arrested eight drug suspects and seized at least P1.8 million marijuana in a buy-bust operation in this city.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Bulacan police commander Lt. Col. Jacquiline Puapo, said the San Jose Del Monte City police conducted a drug sting in Blk-3, Bgy. Gumaoc East, City of San Jose del Monte in Bulacan.
Eight suspects were arrested.
Seized during the operation were at least 15 kilograms of dried marijuana worth P1.8 millio, the marked money, and a coin purse.
Puapo said the suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
