COLLEGE STUDENT RAPED, KILLED, DUMPED IN RIVER

A THIRD YEAR college student on Sunday night was found dead and floating in a river in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

Police said the victim was a 21-year-old student of the Pangasinan State University (PSU) and a resident of Bgy.  Balangobong in Lingayen town.

She was found naked from waist down, an indication she was sexually molested before she was killed, authorities said.

A fisherman found the victim floating on a river at Sitio San Gabriel, Bgy. Balangobong.

The witness immediately reported to the police his gruesome find.

Lawmen immediately conducted a follow-up operation and arrested suspect Jessie Aquino Soriano, 32, a solar panel installer. 

According to the suspect, he was drunk when he committed the crime. He confessed raping the victim and killing her.
