A TROOPER on Tuesday shot a 23-year-old man who barged into his barracks in Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Nueva Ecija police identified the “intruder” as Jezmark Ladra Adajar alias “Dugong,” of Bgy. Napiliran Balingasag, Misamis Oriental.
According to Sgt. Mark Anthony Glemao, 34, assigned at the 703rd Brigade in Bgy. Calaanan, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, he, his wife and their child were in his barracks when Adajar forcibly entered by kicking the gate and the barrack’s door open.
The incident alerted Glemao and shot Adajar, who was rushed to the Bongabon District Hospital.
The solider surrendered to the responding police officers and turned over the cal. 45 pistol he used in the shooting.
