A 33-YEAR-OLD businessman on Monday was killed while his female companion was injured in a gun attack in Cabanatuan City.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Cabanatuan police identified the fatality as Jechcris Realisan, 33, a buy-and-sell trader residing in Sampaguita St., Bgy. Tagumpay, Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija.
Realisan’s companion, Jennela Ponce, 32, of Bgy. Pinamalisan, also in Gabaldon, was injured in the attack.
The shooting occurred at Villa Luz Subd., Bgy. Mabini Homesite, Cabanatuan City.
An investigation showed the victims were in a gray Mitsubishi Lancer Sedan with plate no. XKN886 when shot several times by the suspect on a motorcycle.
The gunman fled after the attack.
Witnesses rushed the victims to the Dr. PJGMRMC, where Realisan was pronounced dead-on-arrival.
Ponce is being treated after sustaining a bullet wound on her foot.
Authorities immediately launched “Oplan Bakod” to track down the gunman.
