CAMP BRIG. GEN. VICENTE LIM, Calamba, Laguna – The Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) on Tuesday conducted a Health Caravan for children in celebration of the National Children’s Month.
PRO4A director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth T Lucas and his wife, Mary June T. Lucas, adviser of the PRO 4A Officers Ladies Club, led the Health Caravan program that benefitted more than 100 children.
With the theme “Kalusugan ng Bata, Tungkulin ng Lahat: Gabay Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the program was hosted by the Regional Medical and Dental Unit 4A headed by Col. Michelle A. Arban.

Children from Grades 1 and 2 were provided essential healthcare services and personal hygiene kits.
Activities included a dental-themed puppet show by students from the Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) College of Dentistry (COD), a simultaneous tooth brushing drill led by OLFU-COD, and a demonstration on proper handwashing techniques.
The children also participated in a play therapy and listened to a storytelling session, focusing on nutrition and aims at promoting healthy habits from an early age.
Personal hygiene kits were distributed by Lucman Masonic Lodge No. 406.
The school children were also provided with snacks.
The Health Caravan supports Lucas’ P.O.W.E.R. program (Protect Our community’s Well-being through Effective services and Response) and reflects PRO Calabarzon’s commitment to promoting health and wellness for children in the community.
