THE dean of Notre Dame of Salaman College (NDSC) – Lebak, his nephew, and a couple on Thursday night were killed in separate ambush incidents in Sultan Kudarat.
Lebak town police chief Lt. Col. Joseph Galleto identified the slain school official as Henry Racho, 51, dean and sports coordinator of NDSC – Lebak, and his 17-year-old nephew, both of Bgy. Cadiz, Kalamansig.
The victims were traveling on a motorbike when ambushed in Bgy. Maregaeg, Lebak at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Galleto said the teenager died on the spot while Racho succumbed to bullet wounds an hour later at a hospital.
Later in the day, a couple was also killed in an ambush in Purok Tambes, Bgy. Sta. Clara, Kalamansig.
Town police chief Maj. Rodney Binoya identified the couple as Nestor Rondon, 67, and his wife Marilou Rondon, 60, both of Bgy. Sangay, Kalamansig.
The couple was ambushed at about 5:45 p.m. on the same day while riding a motorbike.
Police are pursuing the suspects and investigating the motives for the attacks.
