A PUBLIC school teacher on Monday was stabbed dead by her ex-husband at the Lydia Aguilar National High School in Bgy. Almanza Dos, Las Piñas City.
Victim Rose, 51, succumbed to 37 stabbed wounds.
Her ex-husband, alias “Dennis,” 38, was arrested by the police in a follow-up operation.
Investigation showed the victim was inside the faculty room when the suspect, who was armed with a knife, barged inside and stabbed her repeatedly in front of some horrified fellow teachers around 8:45 a.m. on Monday.
The suspect fled after the stabbing.
The victim was rushed to Alabang Medical Hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
The couple had been together since 2011. They separated in 2024 after 13 years of marriage allegedly due to the suspect’s jealousy.
