MAN NABBED FOR ROBBING DRUGSTORE IN PAMPANGA

POLICE on Wednesday arrested a man for robbing a drugstore in in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Jean Fajardo, Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the suspect as alias “Oc,” 28, of A. Santos, Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga.

According to Mabalacat police chief Lt. Col. Efren David, Mercury Drugstore security guard Daw Baid, 32, of Atlu-Bola, Mabalacat City heard the alarm from inside the store, prompting him to inspect the perimeter of the establishment.

Another security guard informed the police before helping Baid in searchimg for the thief.

Members of the Mabalacat City police patrolling the area  immediately responded and saw the suspect who was about to escape.

Recovered from the suspect were some P10,000 in cash, two cellphones worth at least P16,000, and  a power bank worth P400.

Police said the suspect will be charged with robbery.
